Pléiades is a constellation of two very high resolution satellites launched between 2011 - 2012. The twin satellites operate in a phased orbit in order to offer a daily revisit capability across the globe.
With capacity for stereo, tri-stereo and single pass target and strip mapping collection this agile satellite constellation has been designed to achieve multiple acquisitions in a single pass. The satellites simultaneously capture panchromatic (black & white) and multispectral (colour) digital imagery, with the commercial product having a ground sampling distance of 0.5m.
The panchromatic and multispectral datasets are available separately or can be purchased as combined (pan-sharpened) 0.5 m multispectral imagery
