With only 5 days to go, our partners at AIRBUS are gearing up to expand their Pléiades Neo constellation with the launch of satellite number 2.
After a successful launch in April 2021 of the first Pléiades Neo satellite, the addition of the second satellite in a total of 4, will provide faster capture cadence, allowing for new possibilities on projects of all kinds.
Pléiades Neo 1 is already in orbit and capturing amazing High Resolution 30cm Satellite Imagery. Why not have a look at some of the first images captured from Pléiades Neo right here.
With each satellite adding half a million km² of 30cm imagery per day to the Airbus catalogue, Pléiades Neo will bring precision, accuracy and new insights to Earth Observation as we know it. We are ready to watch the launch live and we encourage you to join us, which can be located on the Arianespace website.
30cm very high-resolution satellite imagery available for commercial use cases.
The Pléiades Neo constellation will allow daily revisits to any point on Earth to capture large scale projects rapidly, with enhanced performance capabilities.
50cm Digital Elevation Models (DEM) with Tri-stereo capability allowing for more accurate DEM production.
The Pléiades Neo satellites will have 6 multispectral bands which is ideal for spectral analysis and machine learning.
Geoimage are ready to pre-process Pléiades Neo imagery and provide analysis ready data to you soon after launch. Stay up to date with the latest launch information for Pléiades Neo right here on our website, or via our Geoimage LinkedIn page .
