An Official Congratulations to the AARSC

Geoimage are happy to have nominated the amazing team at the Applied Agricultural Remote Sensing Centre (AARSC) who have OFFICALLY WON Maxar’s award for Best Organization in Imagery Application.

The University of New England’s Applied Agricultural Remote Sensing Centre (AARSC) is led by Prof. Andrew Robson who has over 25 years’ experience in the agricultural, government and academia industries.

Collectively they have greatly contributed to the effective resource management and value driven farming practices for increased efficiency using satellite imagery. Their research and developments have aided in the creation of various yield algorithms to estimate and predict crop forecasts of avocados, mangoes, peanuts and sugarcane to name a few.

The AARSC are the winning recipient across all of the Australian and Oceania region where it was announced at the Maxar Velocity Event 2021.

Case Studies with the AARSC

Geoimage have worked with Professor Andrew Robson and his team at the AARSC for several years where some of their amazing work can be seen within our case studies.
