SpaceEye-T, the World’s Highest Resolution Commercial Earth Observation Satellite, Now Available

SpaceEye-T, the World’s Highest Resolution Commercial Earth Observation Satellite, Now Available.

Geoimage is pleased to announce that SpaceEye-T, the world’s highest resolution commercially available optical Earth observation satellite, is now available to customers GLOBALLY*.

As of this week, Geoimage is the first authorised user of SpaceEye-T imagery and tasking services globally, providing access through its strategic partnership with SI Imaging Services (SIIS).

This announcement significantly enhances access to very very-high-resolution (VVHR) satellite imagery, supporting government, environmental monitoring, infrastructure, mining, agriculture, and commercial applications.

What is SpaceEye-T?

SpaceEye-T is a next-generation VVHR optical Earth observation satellite operated by SI Imaging Services (SIIS) and developed by Satrec Initiative, a globally recognised leader in satellite systems and space technologies.

Designed to deliver exceptional image clarity and accuracy, SpaceEye-T provides 25 centimetre native panchromatic resolution, making it the highest resolution optical imagery currently available on the commercial market. This capability exceeds the standard resolution offered by other commercial Earth observation systems and represents the leading edge of commercially accessible space-based imaging.

Operating in a sun-synchronous low Earth orbit, SpaceEye-T offers consistent illumination conditions, frequent revisit opportunities, and near-global coverage. Its advanced optical payload captures both panchromatic and multispectral imagery, enabling detailed feature analysis alongside broader environmental and contextual insights.

SpaceEye-T is engineered for flexible tasking, rapid image acquisition, and reliable data delivery, supporting both routine monitoring programs and time-critical operational requirements, while leveraging advanced stereo imaging to deliver rich, three dimensional insight with exceptional clarity.

With SpaceEye-T now available globally through Geoimage, organisations gain access to the most advanced commercial optical Earth observation capability currently in orbit, supported by trusted regional expertise.

Tasking as a Service (T-aaS)

Tasking-as-a-Service represents an evolution in satellite operations, complementing Satellite-as-a-Service (Sat-aaS) models with flexible, globally accessible assured tasking.

Traditional satellite tasking typically involves submitting individual collection requests, with execution dependent on operator scheduling and program structures. This model effectively supports sustained and planned acquisition requirements.

Under the Tasking-as-a-Service model for SpaceEye-T (ST-1), Geoimage places Assured Tasking and Product Orders globally, excluding the Reserved Area commitments associated with exclusive Satellite-as-a-Service arrangements. This enables Geoimage to activate collection across diverse and evolving areas of interest.

SpaceEye-T offers multiple access models: Sat-aaS provides guaranteed capacity and predictable revisit over Reserved Areas for sustained programs, while T-aaS enables assured global tasking and product ordering without geographic exclusivity. Through this framework, Geoimage supplies ST-1 imagery to its customers in support of their operational and commercial requirements.

Key Characteristics include:
• Assured global tasking excluding Reserved Area commitments
• Ability to place Assured Tasking and Product Orders worldwide excluding Reserved Area
• Flexible access supporting short-term, event-driven, or hybrid operational requirements

What 25 cm Resolution Can Deliver

SpaceEye-T’s 25 cm panchromatic resolution and 1 m multispectral resolution enables the identification and analysis of fine-scale features with exceptional clarity. This level of detail supports:

Additional Sensors Available from SI Imaging Services

In addition to SpaceEye-T, Geoimage provides Australian customers with access to SI Imaging Services’ broader satellite portfolio, including:

  • KOMPSAT-2: Archive only of 1 m panchromatic and 4 m multispectral imagery
  • KOMPSAT-3 and KOMPSAT-3A: High-resolution optical imagery for mapping, monitoring, and analysis
  • KOMPSAT-5: X-band Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery enabling all-weather, day-and-night observation
  • Multispectral sensor capabilities supporting agriculture, environmental monitoring, and land-use analysis

*capture can be obtained globally except for the Reserved Area contracted by other exclusive agreements.
