About the Dragonette Hyperspectral Imaging Constellation

The Dragonette constellation employs Wyvern’s hyperspectral sensor technology capable of capturing 23 spectral bands across the 503–799 nm wavelength range, enabling targeted environmental and agricultural insights. This advanced imaging capability supports precision agriculture, environmental monitoring, and natural resource management, with a 5.3 metre resolution at nadir and a 20 kilometre swath width.

Designed to deliver consistent and reliable hyperspectral data, Dragonette provides detailed imagery suited for monitoring vegetation health, identifying environmental changes, and supporting data-driven land-management decisions.

Dragonette was launched as part of Wyvern’s next-generation hyperspectral imaging initiative, representing a significant step forward in accessible, high-quality Earth observation. The recent Dragonette-005 was successfully deployed into sun-synchronous orbit aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 during the Transporter-15 mission, launched on November 29 from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.
