Geoimage and Wyvern Partnership

Geoimage Expands Global Access to Dragonette Hyperspectral Satellite Data Through Wyvern Partnership

Geoimage has announced a strategic partnership with Wyvern, a provider of advanced hyperspectral satellite technology. This collaboration enables Geoimage to deliver Dragonette hyperspectral satellite imagery to clients worldwide for applications in mining and exploration, environmental monitoring, infrastructure planning, and government projects.

Global Access to the Dragonette Hyperspectral Satellite Constellation

Through this partnership, Geoimage now offers clients access to the Dragonette hyperspectral satellite constellation, a next-generation satellite system capturing 23 or 31 spectral bands across the visible near-infrared range. Dragonette provides 5.3-metre ground resolution and a 20-kilometre swath width, supporting accurate, reliable, and repeatable hyperspectral satellite data collection for global monitoring and analysis.

The Dragonette constellation is suitable for mining and exploration, environmental monitoring, infrastructure development, and government initiatives, providing actionable insights from high-resolution hyperspectral satellite imagery. Additional Dragonette satellites (Dragonette-005 and -006) are planned for launch to increase revisit frequency and expand coverage worldwide.

Geoimage Brings Hyperspectral Data to the Global Market

“We have been impressed over recent months with the speed of capture of the Dragonette constellation and our data scientists have had sufficient time to assess the data, and now is the right time to cement our relationship with Wyvern. We are greatly looking forward to combining our extensive experience with Wyvern’s technology and applying it to environmental conservation, agriculture and horticulture” - Mark Covington, CEO.
